Chris Froome back in hospital after injuring thumb with kitchen knife

After cutting his thumb with a kitchen knife chris Froome has been consigned to hospital for a second time.
Even the 34-year-old Team Ineos riders stated he had surgery on Friday to place the tendon on his left hand.
Alongside a picture of him in a hospital bed using his arm in a sling, Froome composed that the caption:”Stupidly cut my head with a kitchen knife and had to have surgery to put the back again together last night.
“Stuck giving a thumbs up for a few weeks. This isn’t my first year. Can not wait for 2020.”
After being rushed to hospital by helicopter in June after a crash during the Criterium du Dauphine, froome only started riding again in August.
He underwent surgery after losing four pints of blood, in addition to suffering a fractured vertebrae, leg, elbow and ribs.
Froome had been in hospital for over a week and has been forced to miss the Tour de France.
He’s targeting a return to the Tour, where he’ll hope to win a title of next year.
